- So far, I have been a father, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a physician, jazz musician, an adjunct professor at a university, taught judo for 3+ decades, fine-arts black and white photographer, mediator, ham radio operator, SCUBA diver, great lakes sailor, ACA level 4 coastal open water kayak instructor. Hmm, not sure what the context is here, Silbs. First thought that came to my mind is...probably not. Neither noise nor (dis)stress seems particularly nurturing. As for us, we will transition next year to a simpler lifestyle that will keep us involved in our vocations...but on our schedule. AND while we still have both energy and health for new adventures. i've seen too many folks wait too long - and miss marvellous opportunities.
If I'm "off base" with the context, the thought still holds. :)
Wise words. So many do wait too long.
