Ready Or Not...
It is with great restraint that I use my index finger to indicate the blue stuff on this morning's radar map. My finger tip is, of course, on Iowa, and the blue thingy extends diagonally up and across Wisconsin. Within that blue blob is 13-18 inches worth of heavy wet snow. It is expected to continue falling until late this afternoon.
Everything is shutting down, and the plows are already out working the interstate and main roads. I have more work to do at home as I am presently writing questions for an Anatomy & Physiology text book for a publisher. Still, I would like to know that I have the option to paddle if I wished...but I don't.
So, ready or not, here it comes. Most of us will be house bound except for brief excursions out to shovel or snow blow the drive ways. And it is only February 6th.
Paddle safe...

Mercy, but look at that nasty blue blob over my place as well... Sadly it's mostly composed of freezing drizzle, fog and ice pellets! How's a person supposed to enjoy winter with that stuff blowing around? What happened to that beautiful white stuff? LOL
We could use a little bit of the white fluffy stuff here in the Twin Cities. Its getting tough to find some good skiing conditions. We've only had a couple inches since New Years.
And I thought you were discussing the Primaries. And, I know you'll hate to hear, we're expecting mid to upper 70s today...
Michael and Ron, come on down and help yourself to as much as you want. Just be sure to only take the good stuff which is found only on my driveway.
I am trying to see if FEDEX will take a ton of it to drop on Kristen's driveway.
I celebrated the snow falling by watching a great free heeled skiing movie the “Soul Slide”.
My knees have had it but the mind and soul are still in it.
I’d love to see a paddling film made to this caliber …
No FEDEX delivery as yet, Silbs, and I promised the wee one there'd be snow today.
