It's Still Winter Here
It's been so cold for so long, and I've had my nose in the books so much, that I don't even know which direction the lake is from here. Even my brief work outs at the gym are lack luster as I become a chair person working on lectures.
If not for the gym and short walks with Ansel I would be home bound. Laziness has set in. Well, today it is supposed to break the freezing mark for the first time in weeks. I am gifting myself a few hours to drive down into Illinois for lunch with mother-to-be daughter #2. In between, Lady Linda calls from Florida and gives me her blood pressure readings. Such a life.Paddle safe...

now I know why some animals go to sleep for the winter
The manatees don't come up to visit us. Why should we make the first move? :)
