I Don't Get It
I know something about physiology...heck, I teach it. Besides, I'm a physician with more than a little experience in exercise physiology and sports medicine. Nevertheless, I don't see how I can paddle hard all summer, go out in big stuff, get thrown out of my boat, get rescued, rescue someone else, tow another kayak to shore and feel just fine the next day.
But one evening in the pool--make that just a few hours in the pool--and I wake the next day crippled, stiff and hurting.
It must be something they put in the water...besides me and my boat.
Paddle safe...

This is a rhetorical question, right?
Sounds like the classic symptoms of chlorine poisoning. I've warned you all before but no one wants to listen. Its like the kids who play hockey: fall league, spring league, developmental league, etc., when they should be playing baseball, soccer, and other seasonal sports. You may be able to offset these symptoms with Bushmills, the traditional antidote, but why take the risk?
It was originally rhetorical...but this Bushmill thingy sounds liek it might be worth a try.
Bushmill's single malt--I'm in the pool!!!!
Definitely something in the water - add whiskey to neutralize - and maybe some ice while yer at it!

You and JB make me feel old. I get sore all the time.
