A walk In The Fog
I like the fog. I even like paddling in it. Being on the water in the fog gives me a sense of isolation from the world's chaos. It also challenges my navigation skills.
In the fog everything looks, sounds and smells differently than it does in the harshness of bright sunlight. Even a walk in the park takes on a new dimension of reality and visual pleasures.

Plus your other senses kick in. The pine smell and breaking wave sounds as you near land, that malodorous rock with the cormorant rookery, the powerboat that you hope is going slowly, etc.

You are most welcome and feel free to visit my blogs, particularly My Personal Stuff, like you musings, poetry and photos and some video links to the Beatles (I was a teenager in Liverpool in the 60's!)

Paddle safe (I like that!)
